Our client is a rapidly expanding investment management shop with over $8 billion in assets under management. They are looking to strengthen their legal team with a dedicated Funds Counsel in London. The ideal candidate will take ownership of fund-related matters, drive new initiatives, and help institutionalise best-in-class legal infrastructure within a dynamic, high-paced setting.
Compensation package: £140,000–150,000 base + £20,000–30,000 bonus + equity on top.
Work model: 4 days on-site
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in fund structuring and formation, focused on private equity and hedge fund vehicles within the asset management sector.
- Qualified lawyer in England (or equivalent jurisdiction), admitted to practice and in good standing.
- Collaborate closely with business teams to structure and launch innovative investment vehicles, adapting quickly to evolving market demands.
- Prepare and refine core fund documentation, including offering materials and governing agreements, ensuring full alignment with investor expectations and operational needs.
- Negotiate complex commercial arrangements with institutional investors, global asset managers, and key distribution partners to support seamless fund operations and growth.
- Partner with external advisors on multifaceted matters spanning regulatory compliance, entity structuring, and investment-related strategies.
