Fundamental Equities Analyst - Consumer

I am currently partnering with a high-performing discretionary hedge fund to identify a Research Analyst to join their Consumer London-based investment team. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior analyst to take on meaningful responsibility within a collaborative platform, with a clear path toward running risk over time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in equity research (buy-side or sell-side)
• Strong background covering consumer companies, or prior TMT / Consumer Tech coverage exposure
• Proven ability to generate differentiated investment ideas within a discretionary framework
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate investment theses clearly
• Based in London or open to relocation (visa sponsorship available)

Responsibilities

• Conducting deep fundamental research on consumer-focused equities with a technology overlay
• Building and maintaining detailed financial models and valuation analyses
• Generating and presenting investment ideas to the PM
• Monitoring portfolio positions and updating investment theses as new information emerges
• Working closely with the PM on position sizing, timing, and portfolio construction
• Gradually assuming increased responsibility with the opportunity to take risk
