The Opportunity

My client is seeking an experienced Business Development Director to drive growth across banks, financial institutions, and regulated financial services organisations. This is a senior, quota-carrying role focused on winning new enterprise clients for a leading GRC / RegTech solution at a time of strong market demand. You will own strategic accounts, build executive-level relationships, and close complex, high-value deals — with no ceiling on earnings for top performers.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Drive new business revenue across banking, capital markets, payments, and broader financial services
  • Sell GRC / RegTech solutions (risk, compliance, regulatory change, controls, or financial crime) to C‐suite and senior compliance leaders
  • Build and manage a strong enterprise pipeline from prospecting through close
  • Lead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders (Risk, Compliance, Legal, IT, Procurement)
  • Partner closely with pre‐sales, product, and marketing teams to win strategic deals
  • Represent the business at industry events, client meetings, and executive briefings

  • Proven experience selling GRC, RegTech, Risk, Compliance, or Financial Crime solutions
  • Track record of success selling into banks or financial services organisations
  • Strong experience managing enterprise / complex sales cycles
  • Comfortable engaging with C‐level, CRO, CCO, Head of Compliance, and Risk leaders
  • Self‐starter with a consultative, value‐led sales approach
  • UK or US market experience preferred
