We are looking for a commercially driven Account Manager or Business Development Manager to help grow adoption of a world-leading intellectual property platform used by innovative organisations worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, data and intellectual property, helping clients unlock value from one of the most respected platforms in the market.
The Role
- Managing and growing a portfolio of existing client accounts and/or
- Driving new business opportunities with prospective customers
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, understanding client needs and positioning a best-in-class IP solution that supports strategic decision-making, innovation and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Identify opportunities to expand platform usage and revenue
- Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, presentations, negotiations and close
- Clearly articulate the value of a sophisticated IP platform to a range of stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent client outcomes
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management
About You
- Proven experience in B2B sales, account management or business development
- Comfortable selling complex or data-driven solutions (SaaS, platforms, or professional services preferred)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Commercially minded, curious and proactive
- Able to build credibility with senior decision-makers
- Based in or able to commute to London (3β4 days per week in the office)
