An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially driven Technical Sales Manager to join a growing organisation delivering innovative water and wastewater treatment solutions to municipal and industrial clients. You will play a key role in driving business growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and identifying opportunities for the company's portfolio of treatment technologies and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within municipal and industrial water and wastewater markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, engineering consultants, contractors, technology partners, and key decision-makers.
  • Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through proposal submission, contract negotiation, award, and project handover.
  • Prepare high-quality technical and commercial proposals, tenders, quotations, and bid documentation.
  • Deliver technical presentations and solution demonstrations to prospective and existing clients.
  • Assess customer requirements and develop effective, commercially viable treatment solutions.
  • Manage and develop key accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and provide accurate sales forecasts and business reports.
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, project delivery, and marketing teams to support successful project outcomes.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, exhibitions, and networking forums.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree essential.
  • Strong experience in consultative, solution-led sales.
  • Proven experience in technical sales or business development within the water, wastewater, environmental, or process industries.
  • Sound understanding of water and wastewater treatment technologies and processes.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing complex sales cycles and tender submissions.
