We are recruiting for 3 x experienced Site Engineers to support the summer embargo works on a major highway structure refurbishment project at Gallows Corner—a key interchange in London's transport network. This critical infrastructure upgrade involves the full closure and replacement of a 1980s steel structure and forms part of a wider programme improving assets across the A40 and Brent Cross corridors. This project is part of a city-wide Transport for London initiative to modernise ageing assets within a logistically and politically sensitive environment. This is a contract position paying a competitive rate.
Contract Duration: Summer 2025
Working Hours: Rotational 9-hour shifts – (07:00–15:00), (15:00–23:00), (23:00–07:00)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage structural refurbishment activities on a live highway structure.
- Supervise and coordinate specialist contractors, ensuring high standards of record keeping, quality assurance, and performance review.
- Ensure all quality documentation and procedures are consistently implemented and retained throughout the construction process.
- Maintain detailed documentation and reporting in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Operate within a shift-based working schedule, including night shifts and weekends, to support the delivery of this fast-paced, time-sensitive project.

Candidate Profile:
- Experience in working on a Highway Structure or Structural refurbishment in construction and capable of controlling specialists in record keeping, quality control and reviewing performance.
- Ensuring quality documentation is maintained and withheld through production.
- Either degree qualified or ONC/ HND equivalent in civil Engineering.
