An established infrastructure and utilities organisation is seeking an experienced SHEQ Advisor to join its Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to support the delivery of high standards of SHEQ performance across a portfolio of engineering and infrastructure projects.

Working closely with the regional SHEQ leadership team and operational colleagues, you will provide practical guidance, promote a positive safety culture, and help ensure compliance with statutory and organisational requirements.

Permanent or contract (inside ir35).

Travel to sites is required.

Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day SHEQ advice and support to operational and project teams.

Promote a proactive approach to health, safety, environmental, and quality performance across multiple sites.

Monitor corrective and preventive actions, ensuring effective implementation and continuous improvement.

Plan, coordinate, and participate in internal audits, inspections, and assurance activities.

Support and, where required, lead incident and accident investigations, identifying root causes and recommending improvements.

Work collaboratively with project teams to understand operational challenges and embed SHEQ best practice throughout project delivery.

Build strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders to encourage collaborative SHEQ initiatives.
