An established engineering organisation is seeking a skilled and detail-focused Piping Designer to support the delivery of water and infrastructure projects. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, the successful candidate will contribute to the design and coordination of pumping stations and associated pipework systems. The role places strong emphasis on constructability, operational access, and long-term maintainability. Experience working in 3D design environments using Revit is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop 3D models and detailed general arrangement drawings using Revit.
  • Produce layouts for pumping stations, including wet and dry wells, concrete chambers, and associated pipework systems.
  • Model ductile iron and epoxy-coated carbon steel pipework, valves, and pipe support arrangements.
  • Integrate vendor-supplied equipment packages into coordinated plant layouts.
  • Design access platforms, stairs, handrails, and maintenance access solutions in line with relevant standards.
  • Participate in design reviews, including access, lifting, and maintenance assessments.
  • Coordinate closely with civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to ensure clash-free and fully integrated models.
  • Maintain drawing documentation and ensure outputs meet internal and client quality standards.
