A unique opportunity has arisen for 3 x Senior Engineers to play a vital role in the delivery of one of London's most high-profile infrastructure upgrades. This role supports major refurbishment works on key highway structures, including the Gallows Corner interchange, part of a wider improvement programme across the A40 corridor and Brent Cross. The project forms part of a significant capital investment programme by Transport for London (TfL), targeting the modernisation of critical but ageing infrastructure. This is a contract position offering a competitive rate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of structural refurbishment works on large-scale transport infrastructure.
- Lead sections of work, supervising junior staff and contractors to ensure work is carried out safely, on time, and to specification.
- Liaise with the site management team and stakeholders to ensure effective coordination of resources.
- Address and overcome logistical and traffic-related challenges in a constrained, urban environment.
- Participate in a rotational working pattern, including night shifts and occasional weekends, to meet project deadlines during summer embargo periods.

The primary focus is the complete removal and modern replacement of a 1980s steel structure at Gallows Corner — one of London's busiest interchanges. Candidate Profile
- Experience in working on a Highway Structure or Structural refurbishment capable of meeting the above duties.
- Either degree qualified or ONC/HND equivalent in Civil Engineering.
- Working towards ICE membership Full/technical status.
