A leading infrastructure engineering organisation is seeking a Regional CAD Lead to support a major utilities framework in the North West. This hybrid role combines discipline leadership with hands-on project delivery (approximately 50:50 split).

Reporting to the Regional Engineering Lead, you will oversee regional CAD resources, manage workload forecasting and recruitment, uphold standards and ISO 19650 compliance, coordinate offshore drawing production, and champion digital delivery. You will also carry out CAD engineering work on live projects, ensuring safe, buildable, and high-quality design outputs that meet client expectations.

Essential requirements:

  • Experience leading CAD teams and enforcing standards
  • Strong resource planning and stakeholder communication skills
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD (Plant 3D/P&ID), Navisworks, and Civil 3D
  • Experience working within a common data environment

Desirable: experience in regulated infrastructure sectors and familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud or ProjectWise.
