A

An established engineering business is seeking an experienced Senior EICA Engineer to join its growing team.

You will deliver high-quality Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation engineering solutions across turnkey and engineering projects, ensuring designs are safe, practical, cost-effective and compliant with relevant standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce EICA designs, layouts, drawings, schedules and specifications.
  • Develop cost-effective solutions that can be successfully constructed and commissioned.
  • Produce EICA deliverables including load schedules, SLDs, BCDs and instrument indexes.
  • Provide technical input to tenders, estimates and project proposals.
  • Coordinate designs with internal and external engineering disciplines.
  • Work to engineering procedures, quality standards and health & safety requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement and contribute to a positive, customer-focused culture.
  • Consider environmental and sustainability requirements within designs.
  • Travel regularly to project sites as required.

About You

Essential

  • Professional engineering membership.
  • HND/HNC or degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience delivering EICA engineering designs and documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly and confidently.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

  • Experience within the water/wastewater sector.
  • Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
  • Relevant Master's degree.
