An established and growing engineering business within the water sector is seeking a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join its team on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong contractor background and proven experience delivering electrical design solutions on wastewater projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Electrical design for water and wastewater treatment projects
  • Preparation of technical documentation, calculations and specifications
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary delivery teams
  • Supporting project delivery from concept through to commissioning
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and site teams

Requirements:

  • Strong experience within the UK water/wastewater sector
  • Previous contractor or design & build experience essential
  • Experience with LV design, MCCs, control panels and power distribution
