Key Responsibilities• Develop cost‑effective mechanical design layouts meeting specification, safety, and constructability standards.• Evaluate whole‑life design costs including design hours, material selection, buildability, and cross‑discipline impacts.• Ensure consistent use of standard design practices across projects.• Support proposals with engineering estimates and feedback.• Lead multidisciplinary coordination to ensure fully integrated design delivery.• Maintain high standards in documentation, customer satisfaction, and safety throughout the design lifecycle.
