Alexander Associates is delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing renewable energy company as they scale their operations across the UK.

We’ve been mandated to find an experienced Senior HR Manager or Head of HR to lead and develop the company’s people function during a period of rapid growth.

This is a pivotal role for a passionate HR professional who thrives in fast-paced, mission-led environments.

You’ll be working closely with the leadership team to support everything from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, learning and development, and employee wellbeing.

Key

Responsibilities: Lead all HR operations across the full employee lifecycle – from hiring through to offboarding.

Support strategic workforce planning and help build a high-performing, values-led team.

Manage recruitment activity and relationships with external partners during a period of high-volume hiring.

Oversee employee engagement, performance review processes, and L&D initiatives.

Maintain and develop HR policies in line with legal compliance and ISO standards.

Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll processes with accuracy and efficiency.

Act as a trusted advisor to staff and managers on all HR-related matters.

Candidate

Profile: Essential:3–5+ years in an HR generalist role, ideally in a growing or dynamic organisation.

Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.

Comfortable working independently and supporting senior stakeholders.

Experience managing recruitment, onboarding, performance, and employee relations.

Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.

Desirable: CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification.

Experience in the renewables, infrastructure, or engineering sectors.

Familiarity with HR platforms (e. g.

Hi Bob), payroll systems, or ATS.

Exposure to learning & development, or HR analytics and metrics.
