Project Manager – SpaceAlexander Associates are partnering with a cutting-edge, fast-growing launch provider who are looking for a Project Manager. This full-time, long-term contract offers the chance to work at the forefront of the space industry. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, business, legal, and finance teams to keep complex space-sector projects on track and aligned with programme milestones.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage stakeholders and ensure successful technical delivery of engineering projectsCreate, manage, and oversee new and existing work packages and project scopesLead delivery of verification and validation evidence for the launch vehicle and its subsystemsCreate and manage work packages, ensuring alignment with engineering and mission requirementsCoordinate stakeholders across propulsion, avionics, structures, and operations to ensure successful technical deliverySupport development of future launch projects and grant applicationsEssential Experience & SkillsExperience in the space sector or aerospace industryStrong track record of delivering engineering projects on time and within budgetExpertise in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk managementAwareness of related functions such as procurement and engineering managementExperience developing project business casesDesirableTechnical understanding suitable for supporting decisions in a launch or high-technology environmentFamiliarity with ECSS or similar aerospace systems engineering standardsProject management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, PMP)Additional RequirementsValid passport and right to work in the UKFull driving licenceAbility to meet relevant security vetting requirements
