A well-established regional civil engineering and utilities provider are looking for a CAD Technician with a background in civil infrastructure and drainage design , ideally within the UK water sector .
Requirements
- Proficient in 2D/3D CAD , Civil 3D , and BIM tools (e.g., BIM360, Autodesk Construction Cloud)
- Experience with drainage design, infrastructure/non-infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of UK Water Industry standards (WIMES, CIWEM, Sewer Sector Guidance)
- Strong communication & collaboration skills across multi-disciplinary teams
- Understanding of Health & Safety/CDM regulations
- Full UK driving license
Desirable
- Surveying experience (GPS, MH cards/tables)
- MEICA or BIM integration knowledge
