An engineering contractor is seeking a Senior EICA Engineer with strong experience in UK water projects to support delivery across multiple frameworks. This is a long term, contract with the option to be outside IR35. Remote workers may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce cost-effective EICA design documentation
- Develop electrical, control, and instrumentation designs
- Conduct site surveys and attend FATs
- Review subcontractor designs and supplier quotations
- Ensure compliance with UK standards, legislation, and specifications
- Prepare technical documentation, equipment requisitions, and installation scopes
- Support construction and commissioning activities
Requirements
- Extensive experience in UK water sector projects (essential)
- 10+ years’ engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of UK standards (including WIMES)
- Experience with ATEX, CE marking, and hazardous area installations
- Understanding of HSE and risk management
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Control Engineering (or equivalent experience)
