Our client is a UK-based launch vehicle provider committed to environmental sustainability and advancing space capabilities. They're currently looking to expand their team and are looking for an organised and resourceful Storekeeper to manage inventory systems. Responsible for managing the storeroom, including monitoring stock control
Off-loading and loading deliveries to and from the workshop/stores area
Operating and upgrading current workshop storeroom systems to support growth
Picking and delivering line-side stock
Picking and packing outgoing deliveries
Ensuring warehouse policies and procedures are followed and reporting discrepancies to the Supply Chain Manager
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an inventory, warehouse, or engineering role
Academic minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent)
Knowledge of standard workshop tools and their operation
Awareness of occupational safety hazards related to workshop operations
Experienced Fork Lift Truck driver
Working knowledge of inventory management systems
Experience of PAT testing
Valid passport with the right to work in the UK
Full driving licence preferred
