We’re supporting a leading engineering contractor delivering a long-term programme of works on a major Thames Water framework, and they’re now looking to bring in an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor on a contract basis. This role sits within an established commercial team and covers a portfolio of water and wastewater projects. It offers flexible hybrid working and long-term visibility on a stable framework.
The role includes:
- Commercial management of multiple water infrastructure projects across the framework
- Administration of NEC contracts, including change control, early warnings and compensation events
- Cost forecasting, CVRs and reporting to senior stakeholders
- Managing subcontractor procurement, payments and final accounts
- Working closely with project delivery, planning and client teams to ensure commercial control
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on engineering or infrastructure projects
- Previous experience working for an engineering contractor (essential)
- Strong knowledge of NEC forms of contract
- Background in water, utilities or heavy civil engineering preferred
- Comfortable operating in a live delivery environment on long-term frameworks
