We're partnering exclusively with a well established water sector company to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer on a contract basis. This is a key addition in the civils team, with direct responsibility for managing quality and technical delivery across clean water projects.
- Line management of Civil Engineers (feedback sessions, appraisals, technical sign off, workload planning)
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and third parties to support project approvals
- Attending site to conduct audits, support contractors, and ensure quality
- Working closely with PMs on programme, risk and cost implications
Requirements:
- HND, HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering
- Background in the water sector or similar regulated industry
- Strong understanding of infrastructure and non-infrastructure assets
- Confident communicator with sound engineering judgement
- Visible role in a high performing team with direct input into project delivery
- Strong internal backing from both engineering and project functions
- Hybrid working with a South East focus – no excessive travel
