Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge in the water sector? We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for a permanent role based in Derby, with excellent hybrid working flexibility. You’ll report to the Managing QS and take the lead on several key accounts for a large-scale project or manage the full financials for smaller ones. This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking team working on essential UK infrastructure projects, with genuine scope for career growth.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing applications, valuations & cost-value reconciliations
- Leading cost control, forecasting & monthly project reporting
- Handling supply chain and subcontract management
- Supporting risk, value & contract management (NEC experience welcome!)
- Liaising with site teams, clients & stakeholders
- Providing contractual advice to project teams
- Maintaining documentation & highlighting safety risks
What You’ll Bring:
Essential: Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar, ARICS or currently studying for APC, Experience with a main contractor
Desirable: Background in water sector projects, Familiarity with NEC contracts
