We are looking for an experienced Proposals Engineer to join our client’s team in the water industry. Previous experience in this sector is essential to ensure success in this role.

This is a permanent position with the flexibility of hybrid working, offering a great balance between office and remote work.

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Pre-Construction Manager, you will lead multidisciplinary teams to develop technical solutions and commercial proposals for water and wastewater projects, ensuring sustainability and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Lead teams to develop competitive tenders that meet client needs.
  • Ensure proposals align with governance, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Oversee resource planning and department development.

About You

Essential:

  • Degree in Engineering or Project Management.
  • Experience with NEC4 contracts and the UK Water Industry.
  • Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Desirable:

  • Membership in a professional institution.
  • Experience in managing large water industry projects (>£10M).
  • Full UK driving license.
