Our client, a major UK water provider, is seeking an experienced ICA Design Engineer to support a programme of water treatment projects. This is an outside IR35 contract offering long-term work on critical AMP projects, with the flexibility of remote working anywhere in the UK.

The role

You will be responsible for delivering ICA design across a range of water treatment schemes, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet technical, regulatory and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Full ICA design across water treatment projects
  • Development of control philosophies, I/O schedules, loop diagrams and specifications
  • Integration of ICA designs with mechanical, electrical and process disciplines
  • Supporting projects through detailed design and delivery phases
  • Liaison with internal teams and the end client water provider

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in ICA design within the UK water sector
  • Strong background in water treatment projects (essential)
  • Proven contracting experience on AMP programmes
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
