Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

SC / NPPV3 clearance required (or willingness to obtain).

Consultancy role with external client facing work.

We are looking for an experienced Digital Forensic Analyst to conduct forensic examinations of digital devices (e.g. computers, mobile phones) in order to acquire and process evidential data and produce factual reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Case management and forensic analysis of computer and mobile devices.
  • Securing and preservation of digital evidence.
  • Procedure and documentation development.
  • Contribute to achieving and maintaining quality standards whilst ensuring that the company's quality procedures ISO 17025 and 9001 are robustly adhered to.
  • Ensuring that the company's IT security procedures ISO 27001 are robustly adhered to.
  • Keep up to date with digital forensics technology changes.
  • Continue to develop own knowledge and regularly attend CPD events.
  • Excellent understanding of digital technology.
  • 2+ years experience working in an accredited digital forensics laboratory.
  • Ability to use forensic tools including AXIOM, EnCase, Griffeye and X‐Ways.
  • Excellent command of the English language both written and oral.
  • Fully conversant with the digital forensic process and current ACPO Guidelines.
  • Adhere to and be fully conversant with the FSR's Codes of Practice and Conduct.
  • Accurate and precise.
  • A full and clean UK driving licence.
  • Unimpeachable integrity.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience and qualifications in digital forensics.
  • Strong knowledge of ACPO Guidelines and FSR Codes.
  • Recognition of ISO standards (17025, 9001, 27001).
  • Clearance ready or willing to obtain SC / NPPV3.
  • Full and clean UK driving licence.
