Our client, a major UK water provider, is seeking an experienced ICA Design Engineer to support a programme of water treatment projects. This is an outside IR35 contract offering long-term work on critical AMP projects, with the flexibility of remote working anywhere in the UK.
The role involves delivering ICA design across a range of water treatment schemes, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet technical, regulatory and client requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Full ICA design across water treatment projects
- Development of control philosophies, I/O schedules, loop diagrams and specifications
- Integration of ICA designs with mechanical, electrical and process disciplines
- Supporting projects through detailed design and delivery phases
- Liaison with internal teams and the end client water provider
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in ICA design within the UK water sector
- Strong background in water treatment projects (essential)
- Proven contracting experience on AMP programmes
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Eligibility to work in the UK
