Our client, a leading contractor in the UK water and civil engineering sector, is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join their growing design team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions across water and wastewater projects, while developing your technical expertise within a collaborative environment. Flexible hybrid working is available, with some presence required at the Tunbridge Wells office.
- Support the delivery of civil design packages across multiple projects
- Assist in coordinating and reviewing designs to ensure compliance with project and regulatory standards
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and process engineers
- Contribute to all stages of project delivery, including:
- Feasibility studies
- Detailed design
- Construction support
- Support design reviews, risk assessments, and technical documentation
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience in a civil design role, ideally within infrastructure, water, or wastewater projects
- Understanding of civil engineering standards and construction methods
- Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, or similar
- Exposure to BIM processes is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
