Our water-sector client is looking for an experienced Civil Design Engineer to contribute to the design and delivery of both infrastructure and non‑infrastructure projects within a diverse and expanding programme. This long‑term contract offers the chance to take a leading role in developing, reviewing, and coordinating civil engineering designs in a fast‑paced, business‑critical environment.
- Produce, review, and develop civil engineering designs for water and wastewater infrastructure
- Prepare design calculations, technical drawings, and specifications in line with industry and regulatory standards
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including process, mechanical, electrical, and delivery functions
- Manage and coordinate design documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide technical support during construction, resolving design queries and responding to RFIs
- Assist in ensuring compliance with CDM, company policies, and water sector standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement of design methods and engineering processes
Proven experience as a Civil Design Engineer within the water, utilities, or infrastructure sector. Strong proficiency in civil design tools such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroDrainage (or similar). Sound understanding of water and wastewater infrastructure, pipelines, pumping stations, and associated civil assets. Experience in multidisciplinary project environments.
