We are seeking a Vice President – Treasury & Capital Management to optimise the bank’s capital structure, leverage, and balance sheet to support growth, manage risk exposure, and ensure resilience across economic cycles. The role focuses on capital analysis, capital allocation, funding and leverage management, and maintaining strong capital levels under base and stress scenarios, working closely with Treasury, Finance, and Risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse the bank’s capital position, leverage, and balance sheet drivers.
  • Develop and maintain capital allocation frameworks across businesses and portfolios.
  • Optimise capital structure to support growth, funding efficiency, and risk appetite.
  • Monitor capital adequacy and leverage under business-as-usual and stress scenarios.
  • Support funding, liquidity, and balance sheet optimisation in partnership with Treasury.
  • Prepare senior-level capital and balance sheet insights for committees and leadership.
  • Maintain strong governance, controls, and capital management standards.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Treasury, Finance, and Risk.
  • Influence capital and balance sheet decisions through data-driven insight.
  • Manage risk, controls, and regulatory expectations across capital processes.

Experience & Skills:

  • Senior experience in banking treasury, capital management, balance sheet or leverage management.
  • Strong understanding of bank capital, liquidity, leverage and funding dynamics.
  • Excellent analytical and stakeholder communication skills.
