An early-stage PE-backed business in the environmental sector is growing their platform through acquisition and have an opportunity for an Origination Lead to drive the acquisition of UK-based smaller companies in the environment and ecology space.
You will be self-driven and commercial with strong experience in value creation, overseeing due diligence processes, and an ability to build relationships within the ecology/sustainability sector, through a detailed knowledge of its current landscape.
You should apply for this role if you are/have:
- 8+ years in corporate development, acquisitions, value creation or similar
- Demonstrable proactivity in deal origination and acquisition execution
- Strong commercial due diligence experience
- Strong understanding of the environmental/ecology sector
- Acquisition experience in the small/medium sized business market segment preferred
- Degree educated or higher
This is an £80,000-£90,000 salary role with c. £150,000 total comp plus equity. This is a fully remote role, but UK-wide travel will be required to meet clients and prospects.
