Global Data Migration Lead – SAP S / 4HANA Transformation

Location : UK (Hybrid, ~25% travel)

Contract : Long-term | Immediate start

We are seeking a highly experienced Global Data Migration Lead to take end-to-end ownership of the data migration workstream for a major global SAP S / 4HANA transformation program. This is a senior leadership role requiring deep technical expertise, strategic oversight, and the ability to manage a complex global delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and own the global data migration strategy, framework, and methodology aligned with program governance.
• Define migration scope, approach, and sequencing across business units and geographies.
• Establish data quality, validation, and reconciliation standards to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Lead the end-to-end migration lifecycle — from data extraction and transformation to loading and validation.
• Manage global migration teams (onshore / offshore), coordinating closely with technical, functional, and business stakeholders.
• Oversee migration execution using SAP BODS and other industry-standard ETL tools.
• Drive adherence to project milestones, proactively manage risks, and resolve migration-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise data standards, GDPR, and security protocols.

Required Experience

• SAP data migration, including leading global data migration programs.
• Proven experience delivering migrations from SAP ECC and non-SAP legacy systems to SAP S / 4HANA.
• Strong expertise with SAP BODS and related ETL tools.
• Solid understanding of master and transactional data, data mapping, and transformation design.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
