We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading Middle-East bank (London office), taking ownership of the delivery of high-priority strategic programmes and projects across the organisation.
This is a senior delivery role working closely with Business, Technology, Enablement and Control functions, with significant exposure to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of high-priority programmes and projects, ensuring they are delivered against agreed scope, timelines, budget and business outcomes.
- Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, resources and delivery priorities.
- Establish effective project governance, ensuring adherence to the Bank’s project management standards, processes and controls.
- Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and escalations, providing clear visibility and recommended actions to senior management.
- Work across multiple projects and programmes, managing complex interdependencies and ensuring alignment across Business and Technology teams.
- Prepare and present concise project and programme updates, including key decisions, risks, milestones and management actions, to senior management and Executive-level governance forums.
- Review business cases, project demands, requirements and delivery approaches, providing constructive challenge and recommendations where required.
- Work closely with Programme Managers, Delivery Teams and Business stakeholders to resolve issues and drive execution.
- What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience within Banking, ideally across Banking Technology, transformation or large-scale change programmes.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing or overseeing large, complex programmes of work.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects/programmes concurrently with significant dependencies.
- Strong experience working with senior stakeholders, SVPs, Business Heads and Executive-level leadership.
- Experience preparing and presenting project/programme reporting and recommendations to senior management.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Proven ability to work across Business, Technology, Enablement and Control functions.
- Experience managing or coordinating teams of 5–10 people within a matrix environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
