We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading Middle-East bank (London office), taking ownership of the delivery of high-priority strategic programmes and projects across the organisation.
This is a senior delivery role working closely with Business, Technology, Enablement and Control functions, with significant exposure to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end delivery of high-priority programmes and projects, ensuring they are delivered against agreed scope, timelines, budget and business outcomes.
Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, resources and delivery priorities.
Establish effective project governance, ensuring adherence to the Bank’s project management standards, processes and controls.
Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and escalations, providing clear visibility and recommended actions to senior management.
Work across multiple projects and programmes, managing complex interdependencies and ensuring alignment across Business and Technology teams.
Prepare and present concise project and programme updates, including key decisions, risks, milestones and management actions, to senior management and Executive-level governance forums.
Review business cases, project demands, requirements and delivery approaches, providing constructive challenge and recommendations where required.
Work closely with Programme Managers, Delivery Teams and Business stakeholders to resolve issues and drive execution.
What We’re Looking For Strong experience within Banking, ideally across Banking Technology, transformation or large-scale change programmes.
Minimum 5 years’ experience managing or overseeing large, complex programmes of work.
Proven experience managing multiple projects/programmes concurrently with significant dependencies.
Strong experience working with senior stakeholders, SVPs, Business Heads and Executive-level leadership.
Experience preparing and presenting project/programme reporting and recommendations to senior management.
Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
Proven ability to work across Business, Technology, Enablement and Control functions.
Experience managing or coordinating teams of 5–10 people within a matrix environment.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
