A leading international bank is building a new corporate banking payments capability and is looking for an experienced business analyst to play a key role on the launch of new payments products and features. This is an opportunity for a business analyst from a business rather than IT background to play a key role in the analysis of business requirements, current/future states, business processes, and operating model design, for someone with a strong background in payments within a commercial/transaction banking context. You will ideally have experience working on a recent SEPA instant payments analysis and implementation.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse business requirements and current/future states for new payments products.
- Design operating model and business process for the payments capability.
- Stakeholder management and communication across commercial and technical teams.
- Lead new product launches and commercial projects, rather than risk/compliance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/corporate banking payments experience, strong understanding of major payment schemes (Ideally in UK "big 5" banks).
- Demonstrable experience on new product/new business projects, rather than risk/compliance.
- SEPA instant payments analysis, design and implementation experience highly desirable.
- End-to-end business analysis experience including operating model, business process, and requirements analysis.
- Core business / product background rather than technical/developer route is preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management experience.
- Degree educated or higher from a leading academic institution.
Pay range: £550-600/day role-based London initially for six months; largely office based in central London.
