Alex Tart Architects is looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London. The successful candidate will be working on private residential projects. It is a fixed-term position with the potential of extending.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Part 2 architectural assistant with UK architectural assistant experience to join our creative design practice in South West London. Our firm prides itself on our attention to detailing and capacity to blend both traditional and contemporary design seamlessly, valuing both skillsets equally as a design studio.
We are looking for capable candidates who want to be an integral part of a team and grow their career through the support of experienced senior architects.
Qualifications:- UK Part 2 architectural assistant experience
- Private residential experience highly regarded
- Skill at freehand sketching is considered a major asset
- An ability to work within a team, as well as independently
- Ability to take initiative and ownership where appropriate
- High proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, and Excel
- High proficiency in SketchUp, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum two years of work experience using AutoCAD
- Knowledge of the latest building regulations and British standards
- Salary level will be very competitive and is dependent upon experience
- Direct applicants only
