An integrated Group of companies, and one of the key players today in all areas of the Construction industry in Cyprus is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer (Residential Development) to join its team. The Group also operates in Greece and Egypt, it was founded in 1990 and now has more than 800 employees. The candidate will work on residential development in London. You are offered a long-term contract in London with official employment according to the UK law. The position is only available for candidates based in the United Kingdom.
Your future tasks:
- Managing all civil engineering activities on-site, including groundwork, infrastructure, and structural elements.
- Liaising with architects, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure designs and plans are executed correctly.
- Ensuring compliance with UK building codes, regulations, and health & safety standards.
- Monitoring project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring the project remains on schedule and within scope.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and construction staff.
- Preparing reports, conducting site inspections, and attending project meetings.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in civil engineering, preferably including UK-based residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of UK construction regulations and standards.
- EU/UK work authorization.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- English C2.
