Our client is a leading, private equity backed IT services business, headquartered in The Netherlands. They are a pivotal player within its vertical, and coupled with its investment from a European growth buy-out Fund, it is strategically positioned for significant expansion across Northern Europe through targeted acquisitions and organic growth. To support this growth, the business is seeking a Finance Director to join the team and take responsibility for the financial management of its high-growth business in the UK. These operations represent £70M in annual revenue, with an organic top and bottom-line growth. Key Responsibilities
- Lead partnerships with local Business Operations, Sales, and other teams to develop and implement continuous improvement processes.
- Develop and implement financial strategies aimed at analysing and expanding profitable service lines.
- Leverage data analytics to identify high-growth service opportunities, customer demand trends, and avenues for revenue optimisation.
- Partner with business unit leaders to interpret financial data and deliver insights that guide strategic decisions for service expansion.
- Lead the analysis of contribution margins across service lines to identify opportunities for profitability improvements through cost management and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to evaluate cost structures and pricing effectiveness, ensuring service lines meet or exceed targeted contribution margins.
- Oversee the budgeting process and five-year plan.
- Manage monthly performance analyses, including management reports and KPI monitoring.
- Build and oversee robust forecasting models that incorporate historical data and align with growth objectives, focusing specifically on the growth and contribution margins of service lines.
- Present actionable financial insights to the executive team, board, and stakeholders, with a focus on the financial impact of service lines and contribution margin optimisation.
