Our client is a fast-growing multi-channel business. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an Ecommerce Assistant to join the team.
About the Role
The business is growing rapidly through all channels, particularly online, and they now have a desire to expand the Ecommerce team to support the exciting ongoing growth. The new Ecommerce Assistant role will play a vitally important part in the ongoing success of the business. Working within the close-knit Ecommerce team, they will have the opportunity to play a central role in shaping digital infrastructure for future success. The successful candidate will report into the Senior Digital Marketing Executive.
This is an excellent time to join the team as the business is currently implementing significant investment in Ecommerce and Digital infrastructure. The role will be very varied and the sky is the limit in terms of the opportunities to develop your career.
The Ecommerce Assistant’s responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day website updates using the Magento and Prismic CMS systems
- Bulk content uploads, product uploads to the company websites
- Daily review and maintenance of the company’s suite of websites
- Supporting the management of fault repairs and liaising with the Digital Agency
- Reporting and analytics support activities
- Ad hoc research and investigations
- Ecommerce data formatting
- SEO and Paid Ads support activity
- A/B and User testing support and input
- General team administration
- Invoices and PO paperwork processing
- Monitoring the Ecommerce email inbox
- Supporting code deployments
- Web testing
- Other activities to support the Ecommerce Team
- Potential travel to meetings with suppliers

About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic, can-do professional with at least a year’s experience in an Ecommerce or Digital Marketing role. It is important to have previous experience using Content Management Systems, with previous experience of Magento being a preference. The right candidate will need to be able to support a busy workload as they are a small hands-on team. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive, inquisitive attitude are desired. Finally, we are looking for someone who has bright ideas and is keen to contribute them.
