We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Designer role to join our Innovation and Design Team. Within this role, you will provide expert design service to customers and our in-house collections. As a designer, the continuing development of new and innovative qualities is also key in the role and growth of the company, meanwhile maintaining a strong link to our archive from the past.
The role will be a mixture of day and night shift, although other shifts may be required, particularly during training. Allowances will be paid to reflect certain shift patterns.
- Create designs for customers and in-house collections – CADs
- Design new cloth qualities
- Guide and support Account Managers towards appropriate technical and price conscious product choices for our customers
- Lead designer for 1 or more key customer accounts, working in partnership with account manager and communicating directly with customer when appropriate
- Travel – customer visits, store visits and trade shows when required
Honours Degree – Woven Textiles Design
At least 2 years working experience as a woven designer
Knowledge to create new cloth qualities
