ALEX – Alternative Experts is seeking a Universal Joint Task List (UJTL) Analyst to support readiness, training, and operational analysis efforts within a structured federal environment. This role focuses on the development, assessment, and integration of task-based frameworks, training plans, and analytical processes that support mission readiness. The position requires strong operational experience, familiarity with structured planning and training systems, and the ability to coordinate across stakeholders to support mission execution.

Requirements
  • Support development, maintenance, and assessment of task-based frameworks and readiness processes
  • Conduct analytical assessments related to training, readiness, and operational performance
  • Assist in the development and refinement of processes, procedures, and supporting documentation
  • Participate in and facilitate working groups, meetings, and coordination efforts across stakeholders
  • Develop reports, staffing packages, and briefing materials to support leadership decision-making
  • Support training-related activities, including coordination, development, and delivery of user training to operational staffs
  • Ensure alignment between training plans, task frameworks, and operational requirements
  • Apply structured methodologies to support planning, readiness, and evaluation efforts
  • Maintain consistency and accuracy across analytical products and supporting documentation
  • Collaborate with analysts, planners, and stakeholders across multiple organizations
  • Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Required Experience:

Candidates must demonstrate at least 2 years of experience in six (6) or more of the following areas:

  • Supporting development, maintenance, or execution of training and readiness programs
  • Experience delivering or coordinating user training for operational or headquarters-level staffs
  • Knowledge of structured task and training frameworks (e.g., task lists, training plans)
  • Experience supporting or applying structured planning methodologies
  • Knowledge of organizational structures, missions, and relationships within federal or military environments
  • Experience coordinating across multiple organizations, including large operational staffs
  • Experience conducting analytical assessments and developing reports
  • Experience developing processes and procedures
  • Experience preparing and conducting working groups or collaborative sessions
  • Experience developing staffing packages or supporting documentation
  • Strong written communication skills, including grammar and professional documentation standards

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting federal or DoD training and readiness programs
  • Familiarity with structured task frameworks and training systems (e.g., JMETL, UJTL, MTP concepts)
  • Experience working in multi-organizational environments (e.g., joint, interagency, or large enterprise organizations)
  • Ability to translate operational requirements into structured frameworks and documentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Education and Certifications:

  • No degree required with a minimum of 5 years of warfighting or operational military experience
