We are looking for an innovative, self-driven and customer-centric Senior Payments PM to join our Digital banking client based in the city of London. You will play a key role in translating business needs into functional requirements, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, and ensuring the seamless delivery of impactful payment solutions. You’ll be part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment where agility and strategic thinking are essential.

This role will entail:

  • Collecting, understanding and translating business requirements into functional specifications and test scenarios for technical teams.
  • Prioritising tasks in line with project timelines, ensuring key milestones are met.
  • Working closely with the development team to explain and elaborate on user stories, ensuring clear understanding of acceptance criteria and deliverables.
  • Communicating with subject matter experts, system users and external clients to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
  • Applying your experience with SWIFT, ISO 20022, Faster Payments Services, BACS, and SEPA schemes to drive solutions.
  • Assessing the impact of new systems, services, or products, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Working with internal experts, including compliance, tax, legal and accounting teams to ensure products and services are compliant and fit for purpose.
  • Developing and maintaining feature roadmaps, using data to inform prioritisation decisions.

Benefits:

  • Outside IR35 day rate: £600 - £700 p/day (DoE).

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be customer-first in their approach mindset, extremely detail orientated and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced organisation. The ideal candidate will have experience in product management at a technology-powered firm with a proven record of delivery.

Experience and abilities we are specifically looking for include:

  • 5+ years of experience in finance or payments industry.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, working closely with engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to generate customer insights and develop value propositions.
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple/competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Successful track record of delivering products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Able to influence at all levels within the organisation using clear data and documentation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
