As a BA, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the requirements gathering from the internal stakeholders within our business for our technology department. Your primary focus will be on working with key non-technical stakeholders in the business to understand the “as-is” process and map the “To Be” process in alignment with the bank's goals and regulatory requirements. You will be a proactive problem solver and guide the development team into delivering high spec solutions, creating documentation for their referral and supporting the technical with any additional information required from business users. If you are the type of person who thrives on working in the "grey" areas, a problem solver who can manage conflicting stakeholder priorities whilst ensuring delivery, all with a cool head, then this is the job for you.

The BA will:
- Gather and document business requirements for the Upgrade and modernisation of their core banking system (Equation).
- Carefully identify and manage the relevant stakeholders for the project to ensure that their needs are considered and that their expectations are managed.
- Accurately planning and estimating the business analysis work required on the project to inform the project plan.
- Work in an Agile environment, ensuring iterative progress and timely delivery of projects.
The person
Essential Knowledge & Experience
- Project experience of upgrading Equation or other Core Banking systems is essential.
- Banking experience preferred.
- Experience of undertaking Business Analysis activities in a fast-paced Change environment.
- JIRA proficiency.
- Good understanding of all stages of project and SDLC life-cycles.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
