An exciting opportunity has arisen for a candidate of exceptional ability to join our English Department as a Teacher of Key stage 3‑5 English in this over‑subscribed and successful selective school. This role requires a strong understanding of how to engage, support and encourage students in order to achieve high standards. You will play a key role in supporting the corporate responsibility for the well‑being, education and discipline of all students by:
- following designated programmes of study
- carrying out necessary assessments
- maintaining discipline in accordance with school policies
- working closely with other teachers in the same curriculum area
- engaging in continuous professional development in the relevant areas
