AlertSystems is currently recruiting for a Group Finance Officer position within the Finance Department (fully site based).

  • Purchase ledger queries.
  • Reconcile purchase ledger statements.
  • Create and approve ad hoc payments.
  • Prepare sales ledger statements.
  • Sales ledger queries.
  • Processing sales ledger invoices.
  • Update and maintain expense claims.
  • Payroll updates.
  • Day to day management of Company bank accounts.
  • Management of customer direct debits.
  • Customer credit management.
  • Assisting with month end tasks and reporting.

Essential skills

  • Previous experience of working in Finance is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Candidates should be methodical with a strong attention to detail.
  • Numerical competency.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office.

The Package

  • Annual salary: £27,000 - £28,000.
  • Hours: 37.5 per week, 08:30-17:00, Monday-Thursday & 08:30-16:30 Friday.
  • 22 days holiday p.a. (increasing with length of service) + Bank Holidays + an extra day off for your birthday.
  • Group Pension contributions.
