We are a leading provider of firestopping, fireproofing, and passive fire protection services across the UK. As a third-party certified contractor, we are fully accredited to carry out a wide range of fire protection works including fire compartmentation, fireboarding, structural steel protection, and fire door installation.
We proudly support a wide range of sectors including hospitals, universities, commercial buildings, social housing, and public sector facilities, ensuring compliance and safety in every project we undertake. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality work and reliable service to all our clients.
Locations:
- South England: Plymouth, Exeter, Bournemouth, Eastbourne & surrounding areas
- North England & Scotland: Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow & surrounding areas
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough on-site fire door surveys in line with industry standards and regulations
- Inspect doors, frames, hardware, seals, and associated components for compliance
- Accurately complete detailed, comprehensive reports using our specialist reporting software (training provided)
- Provide professional and clear communication with clients on-site
- Submit completed reports in a timely and organised manner
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Fire Door Surveyor or relevant fire safety surveying role
- Strong understanding of current fire door regulations and standards (e.g. BS 8214, BS 476)
- Ability to write clear and accurate reports
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach
- Willingness to travel within your region
- Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Desirable (but not essential):
- Fire safety certifications (FDIS, BRE, IFSM or similar)
- Experience with compartmentation or passive fire protection surveys
