As a Commissioning Engineer, you’ll lead the commissioning of our data center facilities. The successful candidate will ensure that all systems, including electrical, mechanical, and IT infrastructure, are installed, tested, and operational according to design specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
Your Role
- Plan, execute, and manage commissioning of data center systems including:
- Electrical power systems (UPS, generators, switchgear)
- Cooling and HVAC systems
- Fire detection and suppression systems
- Building management and monitoring systems (BMS/DCIM)
- Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and performance verification.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients for smooth handover.
- Prepare detailed commissioning reports, test documentation, and as-built records.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, TIA-942, Uptime Institute, and other relevant codes.
- Provide technical support and training to operations teams during handover.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
- Proven experience commissioning data center infrastructure (Tier I–IV).
- Strong knowledge of UPS, generators, CRAC/CRAH units, fire suppression, and monitoring systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards (TIA-942, Uptime Institute, NFPA, IEC).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
