We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Contract Quantity Surveyor to oversee commercial, contractual, and cost management aspects of our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects. The role requires strong expertise in contract administration, claims management, subcontractor coordination, and commercial reporting to ensure projects are delivered within budget and aligned with contractual obligations.

Your Role

  • Manage and administer MEP subcontractor and supplier contracts.
  • Prepare, submit, and defend contractual claims, variations, and extension-of-time (EOT) submissions.
  • Assess and certify subcontractor interim and final payment applications.
  • Compile and submit accurate monthly cost/value reconciliations and commercial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with project contracts, FIDIC conditions, and client requirements.
  • Support negotiation of contractual and commercial issues with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Identify contractual risks and advise on mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of correspondence, agreements, and contract changes.
  • Liaise closely with the Commercial Manager, MEP teams, and project stakeholders to resolve disputes and protect company interests.
  • Support project close-out, including final account agreements.

This is a full-time role requiring site visits and close collaboration with multiple teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in MEP Quantity Surveying, with at least 2+ years focused on contract administration.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction contracts (especially FIDIC), and claims preparation.
  • Proven experience managing subcontractor accounts and preparing commercial reports.
  • Proficiency in contract management tools and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with BIM 360, Navisworks, and Power BI dashboards (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, commercially astute, and proactive in problem-solving.
