As a Construction Manager based in the UAE, you’ll take charge of MEP installations, working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver world-class outcomes. Your Role
- Lead and manage daily site operations for MEP installation works, ensuring efficiency and productivity targets are achieved.
- Oversee method statements, risk assessments, and DSTI schedules, ensuring compliance with HSE and QA/QC standards.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers to manage procurement schedules, including long-lead items and material delivery timelines.
- Ensure all drawings, specifications, and contract documents are up to date and properly communicated to site teams.
- Monitor and maintain site records, including progress, constraints, and resource requirements.
- Drive testing & commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and client expectations.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery and performance standards.
- Promote a zero-defect and safety-first culture, minimizing LTI and near misses.
- Track and improve team performance, ensuring optimal workforce productivity and engagement.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in MEP construction, with at least 2–3 years in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of local regulations and construction standards.
- PMP or other project management certification is desirable.
- Experience in sustainable building practices, Agile or Lean methodologies is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced project environments.
