About ALEHM

The Association of London Environmental Health Managers (ALEHM) is a small, dynamic charity that promotes and supports Environmental Health across London. We work closely with local authorities, professional bodies and industry partners to co-ordinate the delivery of Environmental Health across London, deliver training, share best practice, support apprentices and develop initiatives that strengthen the Environmental Health profession.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team and help drive the organisation forward. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on the future of Environmental Health in London while enjoying the flexibility of part-time working.

The Role

The ALEHM Co-ordinator and Local Authority Liaison Officer is responsible for managing and co-ordinating the day-to-day and strategic activities of the Association. Working closely with ALEHM Trustees, Manager and Executive members, you will lead the delivery of our business plan, support members, develop partnerships, and help raise the profile of Environmental Health across London.

This role is primarily home-based, with a laptop provided. However, regular attendance at meetings, events and training sessions in London will be required. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.

The role is for two or possibly three days per week, normally comprising Tuesdays and either Wednesdays or Thursdays. It may suit someone seeking part-time employment alongside another role, provided there is no conflict of interest.

Applicants should ideally live within or close to the M25, with good transport links into London.

About You
