About the role
We're looking for a Customer Service Assistant to be the first point of contact for our customers and help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll handle inbound queries, manage orders and returns, update customer accounts, and make sure customers are kept informed at every stage. It's a varied role where accuracy, communication, and pace all matter.
What you'll be doing
- You'll manage the customer service inbox and respond to queries quickly and professionally.
- You'll also process and track orders, backorders, and returns, making sure all systems and records are kept up to date.
- A big part of the role is keeping customers informed and making sure issues are followed through to resolution.
- You'll also work with internal teams to make sure orders are dispatched correctly and any delays are handled properly.
What we're looking for
Someone with a positive, proactive attitude who enjoys helping customers and solving problems. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are important, along with the ability to stay organised in a busy environment. Experience with Salesforce or Sage would be useful but not essential.
