Salary/Package - £48,000 - £52,000 basic + OT + Company Vehicle + Private Medical

Location - North West London

Permanent Position - Home to Site/Office

We're looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Installation Engineer / Foreman to join our clients growing team, delivering commercial and industrial sprinkler projects across a range of interesting environments in London/Home Counties. Our client is a privately owned sprinkler contractor who have immense pride in their low turnover of staff record. This can be attributed to the attention to detail and care for their employees over the 20 years since they were incorporated.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys leading from the front and understands what quality sprinkler installations should look like. You'll be trusted to manage small works projects, system modifications, fit-outs and installation teams while working closely with both clients and internal project teams. The Role

  • Carrying out sprinkler system additions, alterations and fit-outs
  • Leading and supervising sprinkler installation teams on site
  • Coordinating works with clients, contractors and internal management teams
  • Ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
  • Managing day-to-day site activities and maintaining programme delivery
  • Supporting commissioning and handover activities where required

This role offers a good mix of technical hands-on installation work alongside team leadership and site responsibility. We're interested in candidates who already have solid experience within the fire sprinkler industry and are confident working independently on commercial or industrial projects.

Ideally, you will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a sprinkler fitter
  • Experience working as a Lead Fitter, Foreman or Site Supervisor
  • A strong understanding of BS EN 12845 standards
  • Good knowledge of sprinkler system installation processes
  • Experience with:
    • Pipe threading
    • Grooving
    • Welding
    • Valve sets
    • Fire pumps
    • Steel pipe sprinkler systems

You should also be someone who:

  • Leads by example on site
  • Communicates well with clients and contractors
  • Takes ownership of projects and quality standards
  • Can motivate and organise installation teams effectively
  • Maintains a strong focus on health & safety

Full UK Driving Licence

CSCS Card or equivalent site safety certification

Preferred:

  • SSSTS
  • ABBE Level 2 Certificate in Fire Sprinkler Installation
